A maximum of 3 consultations are included with your Bliss Event:
In planning hundreds of events, we have found that 3 consultations are adequate to plan your event. For any additional questions that arise, e-mail and phone correspondence works well. If any additional consultations are requested, they will subject to $50/hour.
Track changes to contract: During your planning process please track any necessary changes to your contract and submit them at your next consultation. We will only make updates to your contract at consultations, not via phone or email. Please bring your final guest count and list of final changes/updates to your final consultation, as this is the last time changes can be made.
All changes must be finalized 3 weeks prior to the event (or at Final Consultation): No adding or subtracting items. This is due to ordering supplies and having adequate staffing for the event.
All items used are property of Bliss, unless otherwise noted above, with the exception to flowers: All items used at event (tables, chairs, linens, décor) are property of Bliss. All items will need to be left on the premise for Bliss to pick-up in the same condition at the end of an event. If there is anything missing or abused (not able to be reused at future events) above and beyond expected wear and tear, the Customer agrees to pay full Replacement Market Value. This bill will be sent to the Customer after the event is concluded. Unless you purchased (which would be specified above) the containers or vases the flowers were in, they are the property of property of Bliss, however the flowers are yours to keep. We can provide disposable containers for you if you like to take all your flowers home safely.
Flower Quality: We guarantee your flowers will be in premium condition when they are delivered. However, because of the many extenuating situations and circumstances in which flowers can be exposed, we cannot guarantee the flowers after they leave our control. Your Bliss consultant that delivers the order will give you any special handling instructions needed as well as vases with water to keep your bouquets at peak performance throughout the day.
In the event that your flowers arrive from the grower’s in a condition out of the control of Bliss (i.e. color, quality, size, quantity from floral vendors/growers) Bliss will take all measures to try and fulfill and accommodate your floral requests. We will use our discretion and expertise to find/make the best alternative to complete your floral requests to not compromise the overall look. Upon booking your flowers with Bliss, you are agreeing that your Bliss florist holds the right to make the best decision for you and you flowers to complete the overall floral order for your event.
Weather Conditions/Site Restrictions/Changes: The Customer is hiring Bliss with the understanding that Bliss will set-up and decorate the event using the discretion of Bliss to implement the wishes of the Customer. Bliss will make all attempts to cater to and implement the Customers wishes and requests, however is not liable if the requests are unable to be made due to access to inventory and materials, site restrictions and limitations, other vendor’s needs and weather permitting. Bliss has no control of Mother Nature or Acts of Gods, therefore will do the best to their ability to make all necessary arrangements or concessions due to unforeseen circumstances. It is the responsibility of the Customer to make prior arrangements when hosting an outdoor event in the case of severe weather conditions. This is not the responsibility of Bliss to come up with an alternative and is understood that in the case of severe weather conditions that Bliss will not take down, move and/or re-set all of the items contracted above to a new location.
Cleaning: Bliss will set-up, take down, remove and clean all Bliss items and rental items Bliss coordinates. This service is accounted for in the 12% listed above. However, the following is not included: bussing tables (food, drinks, garbage, etc.) and/or emptying garbage from site, sweeping or mopping floors unless specified in additional services above. Bussing tables is to be completed by the caterer, bar or designated person prior to Bliss’ arrival to remove linens and tables. If you would like these additional services, it is the responsibility of the person who signed the contract below to notify Bliss if you would like additional cleaning services preformed. Some contracts have a voluntary cleaning option, which you forfeit your deposit if the venue is not properly cleaned. Bliss will not assume that you would like any additional cleaning service above and beyond removing the items Bliss brought to the venue. If the venue requires any additional cleaning (above and beyond removal of Bliss items) before we are allowed to leave the premise, this will be subject to $200 per hour and the client will be billed after the event.
Office hours and phone calls: Please feel free to call or email with any questions throughout your planning process. Typically we are in and out of the office between consultations and office work Monday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday we are at events and Sunday we are we are closed. Since we are at events on Fridays and Saturdays, we are often times difficult to get a hold of, as the clients of those events take priority and have our undivided attention (as you will also get the day of your event). If you need immediate assistance please leave an email or voice mail, as we will still try to check them, and we will do our best to get back to you as soon as we can.
Copy of invitation: Please send a copy of your invitation, to the address listed at the top of your contract, so that we may confirm the times/date/places you have notified your guests of or any other details that were not mentioned in consultations (you would be surprised, but major changes have happened several times in the past!)
Payment Details:Bliss has a minimum amount of $2,500 for all fees and services: (including but not limited to: tables, chairs, linens, décor, invitations, favors, flowers, day-of-coordination, etc.) (the only item that cannot be applied to the minimum are tents). If you are below the $2,500 threshold, we will need to add items and services to reach the minimum amount or pay the $2,500 minimum for the services requested regardless if the total amount is less than $2,500. Once the contact is signed and the 50% deposit is made, Bliss requires that any changes to the contract of items and services must stay within 10% of the original total of the signed contract. Bliss reserves the right to hold any client to the items and services listed on the original contract due to ordering, designing, staffing and overall planning.
Bliss accepts cash, check or the following credit cards: Visa, MC, AMEX and Discover. However, the amount provided above reflects a 3.5% cash/check discount. All credit/debit cards will be charged the non-discounted rate by adding 3.5% to your total above. If a check has insufficient funds, the client will be charged a $75 fee on remaining balance. If the client “Stops Payment” without prompt notification and explanation to Bliss, this contract is void and Bliss will not perform any services listed nor will refund any amount already paid.
Take-down starting at or after 11:30 are an additional $150.
Cancellation or postponed event: This agreement may be canceled by either Customer or Bliss with notice of cancellation, in writing, up to 1 month prior to the event. If Customer cancels this agreement within prior to 1 month, the Customer forfeits the 50% paid deposit. If Bliss cancels this agreement, due to the Customer being unreasonable and/or conflict of interest on Bliss’ reputation, Bliss will refund 25%, retaining 25% for time and planning. If Customer cancels event within 1 month of event date, the Customer shall be responsible and liable for the full balance of payment and terms of payment under this agreement.
Final payment is due 1 week after final consultation. No exceptions.
Terms and conditions: This above agreement represents the entire agreement between Bliss and the Customer, and there are no oral or other representations or agreements not included herein. None of the terms or conditions of this contract may be amended or modified, except in writing, signed by Customer, and made a part of this contract. All sales are final.
Bliss Proposal: Due to the high volume of requests received for event dates, the itemized proposal you will receive from Bliss will carry a 14 day expiration, to reserve your event date, for events occurring within 1 year of consultation. Event occurring more than one year out will carry a 30 day expiration date. After the expiration date, if we have not heard back from you regarding your decision to use Bliss for the proposed services or received a signed contract and 50% non-refundable deposit, your date will no longer be secure and will become available to other inquirers.
